have you ever tried smoked papaya and mango? i like to eat it plain, but a friend of mine uses it in spring rolls.

Do I get to cast the first comment? I would never have thought of smoking apples (on the grill or any other way). What an innovative idea. I don’t have a smoker, but I will let you know how it works on a regular BBQ pit. The salad combines several of my favorite things.

I know it’s not red white and blue, but what do you think about a black bean, maybe one that has some chocolate overtones?
