Nasturtiums have a mildly peppery flavor, as in black pepper. I grew mine, but now and then I see them at farmer’s markets. It would be easy to grow them — the seeds are huge and sprout quickly, and the leaves grow fast. Also, given their peppery flavor, bugs pretty well leave them alone. The leaves and flowers are both edible. They’d look nice in a hanging pot I bet — trailing down the sides.

And call it easy peasy? You’ve got a leg up on me then! Get better soon — i like your million ingredient recipes because I always find out about something new. Though eating nasturtium is new to me here. What are they like? And where can you get them?

I always tell them, when they’re running between my legs as I go down the stairs, that I can fall faster than they can run. Now they know…

I love recipies that end in “Easy Peasy”. And I will continue to envision you with two working legs. It was the goat, wasn’t it! I know it was, you don’t even have to answer.
