A sweat lodge, eh? Tepary beans would be a great — and traditional — thing to feast upon when you emerge. I don’t imagine you can get them at your Piggly Wiggly, unless you happen to live in the desert SW. I ordered mine from Native Seeds/SEARCH but I also know that Rancho Gordo sells them. If you find them elsewhere, do let me know.

I love tepary beans, but didn’t realize that very many other people know about them. You’ll be surprised to realize how different they are from each other. They’re easy to grow, too since I jsut throw them in the ground and forget about them till picking time.

Are you going to provide a list of the beans you’ve eaten, sort of at a glance?

I think Becky can agree with me, that once you know more and more about why you should be eating all sorts of food for not only the flavor and texture, but also for the variety of nutrition that our human body needs, you will become to really appreciate food in it’s entirty and will start to crave REAL WHOLESOME good for you food!
