Yes, I know. I got off damn easy! But they were both pretty dense courses, and we all had hopes of accomplishing other things after the tea, so… we went light. I’m not one to skimp on a feast though — I can get lavish with the best of them, never fear!

So… are we on? Another post by Monday? Could be rougher — it’s a holiday weekend. Then again, that means no excuse.

regardless, we are sisters in arms when it comes to crusts. i am adverse to the mere thought. i know i need to do better. but not any time soon. chill this, roll that… PASS.

despite any of this rambling, the tart sounds wonderful and looks beautiful.

can cheese say cheese? very cute…

We just had it smeared on some table crackers and it was SO good! I remember especially liking the brine, which never happens to me. Now I wish we hadn’t eaten it all so I could make your tart!

The pastry sheet idea is also a great idea, which I’ll admit I haven’t tried.

Oh, and if any of you want to start a raw milk/cheese revolution, I’d be ALL for it!

The phyllo tissue paper effect sounds delicious. And, camembert must have been great in your tart. What can we do about this raw milk thing? Raw milk cheese is so good. These laws need to be changed.

Are they much different? we don’t have Trader Joes but one of our local grocers carries their cheese, at least sometimes. Do you have wine pairing suggestions for it?
