Good for you getting carded for wine :-)

I love me some lentils — and belugas are so very … dare I say, pretty??

And kohlrabi… I’m totally stoked about the fact that it will be showing up in markets soon (yes, even here in thet Great White North). Yum.

Not yet at least. But this salad and the gorgeous photos make Beluga Lentil (what a name!) sound pretty tempting.

I’m going to have to place a Berhanu order since I can never find beluga lentils locally. Is that kohlrabi coming up next?

My husband loves all things lentils but he’s afraid of any cheese that isn’t orange, so maybe this is a way to trick him into expanding. Love how easy it is, even if I cook the grains myself.

It makes my knees hurt to know I didn’t get the first word in. Fiber is my friend, and no cook recipes are my wife’s. We don’t have much but we have a Trader Joe’s within 45 minutes.

At which international market did you get the lentils? I usually only make it to Jay’s because Global Foods is kind of a haul for me, and I’ve never noticed them at the former. Or perhaps there is another international market! This salad just got bumped up to “must make” status, it looks amazing!
Thanks for sharing,
Kat
